Abstract
Using the method of numerical simulation, statistical characteristics of fluxes of one-electron pulses and photocounts are studied. Lognormal distribution of intensity of recorded radiation is considered. An algorithm of numerical simulation is described; it is based on the scheme "intensity - photodetector - flux of one-electron pulses - flux of ptotocounts." Results of calculations of different statistical characteristics of fluxes of one-electron pulses and photocouns are discussed and interpreted. Substantial difference for lognormal and exponential intensity distributions is revealed.
