Abstract
Optical RF network opens a new era for high precision measurements. The present paper discusses its application on target detection and tracking with a precision which could not be achieved by current radar systems. Such precision is needed for future air traffic control and for success of national missile defense systems. Optical RF network can also used to monitor earthquake, and safety of dams, bridges, and buildings, as well as for accurate attitude determination of moving platforms like satellites, ships, aircraft, helicopters, etc.
