Abstract
It has been shown that during the few light field cycle pulses propagation in the nonlinear dielectric media with dispersion it is possible for the highly intensive light kern slowly changing with the distance passed in the media to be formed. The transverse sizes of the kern can be comparable with the central wave length. The difference of the phase velocity of the kern and its surrounding light shell makes it possible for the phase surface branching to occur.
