Abstract
Galileo system adopts some new characteristics such as higher transmitting power, new modulation scheme and data-less pilot tones; from the point of view of signal processing, these new characteristics have advantages for indoor positioning. After taking into account of these characteristics, the indoor positioning performance of Galileo signal is studied. Indoor signal processing algorithms, both acquisition and tracking algorithms are given. Galileo signal is modeled and simulated by Matlab, along with signal processing algorithm. Matlab simulation confirmed the theoretical results obtained by former investigation and demonstrated Galileo signal's superior performance in indoor positioning.
