Abstract
Multiple percentages of neodymium doped polycrystalline yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) from 0 to 10% are now commercially available. This paper summarizes a detailed characterization of this material from the mid infrared to ultraviolet. Characterization includes material transmittance and scatter (BSDF) measurements for multiple doping levels of polycrystalline samples. Material Characterization is presented in the form of standard models.
