In my talk, I will discuss the importance of microstructure and dynamic microstructural rearrangements of OMIECs that greatly influence the electronic charge transport properties in electrochemical transistors. I will discuss new chemical design strategies OMIECs to utilize these findings to improve the performance of OMIECs in electrochemical transistors.
