Abstract
Severe convective weather is an important cause of flight delays. Evaluating the impact of severe convective weather on airport dynamic capacity is one of the important ways to improve flight regularity. This paper systematically introduces the current quantitative analysis methods of the impact of convective weather on air traffic and the periodic pattern analysis method of the impact of convective weather on airport dynamic capacity, describes the related research and key technologies of airport dynamic capacity evaluation methods under the influence of convective weather, and provides an outlook on incorporating convective weather effects into the air traffic evaluation index system to accurately assess airport dynamic capacity.
