Abstract
The design, fabrication, and performance of an advanced distributed optoelectronic computing array architecture is presented. The system is used to compute a series of morphological image processing operations constituting a skeleton algorithm. The entire computation is performed in pure combinatorial logic and is effected in a single pass through the system.
