Alireza Rezvanifar received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Najafabad Branch of Islamic Azad University and Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Iran, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. From 2010-2015, he was working as a signal processing engineer at the Information and Communication Technology Institute, IUT, Iran. Since 2016, he has been pursuing his Ph.D program at the Computer Vision Laboratory of the University of Victoria (Canada). His research interests are digital signal processing, computer vision, machine learning/deep learning with a focus on object detection and segmentation techniques.
