Angus Mathieson is a member of the SPIE University of Cambridge Chapter.

His research focusses on the effects electrochemically inserted dopants in new semiconducting materials. He has also published work investigating the possibility of a light-rechargeable battery devices and lithium ion batteries for energy storage applications.
