Profile Summary

My background is in developing optical imaging agents especially for early detection of cancer using targeted molecular imaging techniques, in vivo and in vitro phage display screening to investigate new drug for detection of various biomarkers, and assay development. I have diverse background in multidisciplinary areas such as organic chemistry, peptide/protein chemistry, combinatorial chemistry, peptidomimetics, small molecules and peptide libraries, bio-conjugation chemistry, optical and fluorescent dye selection for in vivo/in vitro imaging. I have been supporting peptide discovery and development teams in use of new imaging technology to facilitate translational research. I have been doing preclinical and clinical work with fluorescence imaging agents and custom designed endoscopes for the early detection of premalignant lesions in esophagus, colon and other cancer types.
