Profile Summary

Christian Eisele is senior scientist in the signatorics department at the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation in Ettlingen, Germany.

He received his diploma in physics in 2003 from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universitaet in Freiburg i.Br., Germany, with a specialization in atomic, molecular and optical physics. In 2009 he received his Ph.D. in physics from the Heinrich-Heine-Universitaet in Duesseldorf, Germany, for his work on a laser based test of the isotropy of light propagation.

Dr. Eisele is Fellow of the Duesseldorf Entrepreneurs Foundation and of the Wilhelm-and-Else-Heraeus Foundation. Since 2010 he is working in the warning sensor technology group at Fraunhofer IOSB on topics like missile warning technology and hostile fire indication, as well as on atmospherical propagation effects.
