This paper presents a software of effectiveness evaluation for space debris cataloguing developed by the space debris research group of Wuhan University. Firstly, the background and related concepts of the software are introduced. Then, the software interface, structure and functions are described. The software is applied to evaluate a simulated space surveillance network in its effectiveness of cataloguing 99 LEO objects, and the effectiveness of the network and the contributions of individual sensors are obtained. The software can play an important role in the space surveillance network design and effectiveness evaluation
