This paper mainly study the wavelet based ECW remote sensing image compression technology. Comparing with the
tradition compression technology JPEG and new compression technology JPEG2000 witch based on wavelet we can find
that when compress quite large remote sensing image the ER Mapper Compressed Wavelet (ECW) can has significant
advantages. The way how to use the ECW SDK was also discussed and prove that it's also the best and faster way to
compress China-Brazil Earth Resource Satellite (CBERS) image.
Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) elicits a wide range of biological responses, including neuronal apoptosis and
neuroprotection, and this functional pleiotropy is essentially determined by the individual molecular orchestration. Two
main pathways lead to apoptosis - the 'extrinsic' or death receptor-initiated pathway, and the 'intrinsic' or
mitochondrial pathway. In this study we firstly examine the signaling pathways involved in TNF-α induced apoptosis in
living PC12 cells by optical imaging. Our results show that the cleavage of BID has been monitored in real time using
fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) technique after PC12 cells treated with TNF-α. Then we observe BAX
can't translocation to mitochondria during PC12 cells apoptosis induced by TNF-α, and that there is no any evidence of
cytochrome C release into cytosol during cell apoptosis. Our data support that TNF-α mediated PC12 cells apoptosis is
extrinsic apoptotic pathway which independent of mitochondria.
Apoptosis has been reported as a contributing pathophysiological mechanism of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Recently, the
anti-apoptosis function of low-power laser irradiation (LPLI) was proposed, suggesting LPLI may become a new means
for AD therapy. In this study, we aimed to demonstrate the anti-apoptosis function of LPLI at molecular level. Aβ25-35
was used to induce apoptosis of PC12 cell, and then the cells were dealt with LPLI. After irradiation, the molecular level
of apoptosis was detected by quantifying the bax I bcl-xl mRNA ratio using a highly sensitive and quantitative
polymerase chain reaction (QT-PCR) technique. The primary results show that the bax Ibcl-xl mRNA ratio of the PC12
cell treated with Aβ25-35
was decreased by LPLI, demonstrating the anti-apoptosis function of LPLI at molecular level.
Among the many physiological effects of low-energy laser irradiation, anti-apoptosis functions have been reported. In our experiments A-beta was used to induce cells apoptosis and then the cells were dealt with low-energy laser irradiation (LELI), and finally the LELI effects to apoptosis were detected. The morphology of apoptotic cells was evaluated by fluorescence microscope. The molecular level of apoptosis was detected by quantifying the Bcl-xl mRNA expression using a new highly sensitive and quantitative polymerase chain reaction (QT-PCR) technique. The results show that the Bcl-xl mRNA expression went variety with different treatments to the cells. That indicates that the Bcl-xl is involved in the LELI effect of the Aβ-induced apoptosis.
