Most of the transmission wires in the traction network are laid outdoors. The influence of the geographical location and the surrounding meteorological environment on the carrying capacity of the transmission wires cannot be ignored. This paper focuses on the analysis of the influence of geographical and climatic factors on the current load of transmission wires, and puts forward the method of dividing the wind speed interval according to the calculation results of the current load.
