Profile Summary

Solvay is a first year PhD student at the College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona (UA). She received her bachelor's degree in Astronomy and Mathematics from Northern Arizona University in May 2020 and then worked as an Observer Technician at the Navy Precision Optical Interferometer (NPOI). She is currently working in the Large Optics Fabrication and Testing Group at the UA lead by Dr. Daewook Kim. Her current research is focused on analyzing the performance of adaptive/active correction in dynamic environments.
